I am available for contract work and consulting, on an hourly basis or for a negotiated fixed cost. My principal area of expertise is Actionscript. I am also conversant with PHP, and with communication between Flash and PHP, or Flash and Javascript.
Contract work means I produce something—ranging from an Actionscript function to an entire application—to your specifications, and provide appropriate documentation and support. My preference is to provide core functionality that you can incorporate into your Flash applications with your preferred design elements.
Consulting means I share my expertise with you to assist you in completing your projects. Typically, this might involve:
My hourly rate for consulting and contract work is $60. Higher for jobs with unusual time pressure, lower for non-profit educational projects. For large projects, it often makes more sense to agree on a flat fee, coupled with clear project specifications.
